April 12- April 26, 2025A 3 week online course that focuses on the evolution of Women's sport in India. It provides a look at how women's sports in India is emerging as a game changer, transforming the social-economic landscape of the country's sports ecosystem.
This course is for anyone who is interested in sports and wants to understand the nuts and bolts of India's sports ecosystem, especially the role of women's sports in it. From a look at India's sports policy journey to listening from experts and former players on how we can improve the governance, involve the markets and transform society from being mere onlookers to enablers of change. This course is an attempt for us to rethink the importance of sports at all levels: cultural, economics and well-being.

Malathi Renati is the Associate Dean at The Takshashila Institution.
With a PMP and CSM certification, her core expertise is in Project Management, Strategy, Process Improvement, and Optimization.
Being an avid sportsperson and a national level player, she has tried her hand at coaching hockey and baseball at school.

Nandan Kamath is the Founder and Principal Lawyer at LawNK, co-founder and Managing Trustee of GoSports Foundation, a National Award-winning organization for elite athletes, and co-founder of the Sports and Society Accelerator.He was involved with drafting the Target Olympic Podium Scheme, was a member of the committee to re-draft the National Sports Code that sets the standard for governance of national sports federations, of the NITI Aayog constituted Working Group for the policy paper on a national Justice Stack, and of several sports committees at the state and central government level.
