Takshashila Executive Programmes (TEP) in Public Policy

Please write to contact@takshashila.org.in if you would like to discuss a public policy programme designed specially for the needs of your organisation.

Today's businesses operate in a complex global and national policy environment straddling geographies, technologies and complex regulatory frameworks. Today's businesses also have to actively engage a diverse set of stakeholders including a variety of government departments, regulators, civil society groups, media and others.

The Takshashila Executive Education Programme will provide a firm understanding of fundamental issues in public policy, decision making in government and the use of economic reasoning in policy analysis. The workshop also provides skills in analysing and shaping narratives, as well as managing important stakeholders. The workshop is designed to help executives evolve better strategies and develop leadership for credible public advocacy.

The Takshashila Executive Programmes (TEP) in Public Policy are specially designed courses for senior leaders, managers, analysts and professionals in public, private and non-profit sectors who deal with public affairs. Takshashila’s executive programmes are conducted in partnership with public (civilian and defence) agencies and private corporations.

These programmes are custom-designed for members of partner organisations for the particular learning objectives and schedule of the class. TEPs can be conducted both in a physical workshop format and as a series of web-based seminars with extra online content, structured readings, assignments and more.

Takshashila has previously conducted executive training programmes for the British High Commission, Tata group, Edelman India, National Maritime Foundation, Practice PR and others. The topics for TEPs, apart from bespoke offerings for interested organisations, have been:

  • Improving Public Outcomes in the Social Sector

  • Public Policy Foundations for Credible Advocacy

  • Public Policy Foundations for International Business

  • Strategic Government Engagement

  • Certificate in Data Journalism
